DEPOSIT AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:
ACCEPTED: American Express, MasterCard (not prepaid), Visa (not prepaid). Debit card not accepted unless otherwise stated below. A deposit amount of EUR 650.0 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section. NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted. A valid credit card in the first name and surname (no abbreviations) of the lead driver must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorise/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross border policy. Cross Border rentals are allowed only within the European Union. A prior written authorization is required. There is also an insurance premium fee that applies depending on the length of the trip and the country. There is an additional kilometer charge of 0.30 EUR PER KM to be paid by the customer. The guarantee is equal to the value of the rental car. These types of rentals should be requested from the rental location at least 7 working days prior to the pick-up date. Charge per green card is 90 EUR. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance TPI as long as it is located in the borders of the country for which it is issued. Delivery and Collection is available during office hours within city limits up to 15 kms and at a charge of 18 EUR excluding vat. For outside city limits, over 15 kms but at a maximum of 11km extra the renter will be charged 0.60 EUR per km excluding vat in addition to the initial 18 EUR excluding vat. For Araxos Charter International Airport approximately 40 kms from the city of Patra a charge of 25 EUR excluding vat applies per service. For deliveries to and from Piraeus port by our Athens downtown branch a charge of 18 EUR excluding vat applies. For deliveries to and from Rafinas and Lavrios harbours by our Athens downtown branch a charge of 35 EUR excluding vat applies per service.
